Friends from Seminary

One of the biggest blessings of seminary was becoming friends from so many godly couples from all different backgrounds and countries. Some of our closest friends, Angie and Johnny Solis, just moved to Ohio a few months before we did. Angie is originally from Sandusky, OH (about 2ish hrs from Youngstown) and Johnny is from Ecuador. It's so nice knowing that they live so close to us! A couple weeks ago they came for the weekend and we enjoyed our time with them so much! We went bowling with my family, took them out to eat, and brought them to church with us. We are hoping to go visit them as well very soon!

Katya's Bridal Shower

Last night my friends, Angie and Anahi and I did a bridal shower for our dear friend, Katya. Our husbands came along too, and then when Katya and Jose got there, they took Jose out for coffee to share with him some things about marriage. The girls and I had a wonderful time doing girly things (we made crafts) and then when they guys got back they dragged Jose in, pretending to have had a wild time with him! We are so excited for Jose and Katya and all that the Lord has planned for them as a couple.

Christmas in September!

My friends and I love to celebrate Christmas together - only we are never together in December! So this year we went ahead with an early celebration. There was Christmas music, scarves and hats, cookies, tacos and White elephant gifts! We ended the night by sharing some helpful and wise advice on marriage to our friend Katya, who is getting married in 2 months!
